Sujata H. Ambardar, MD, FACP
Dr. Ambardar is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. She is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and Georgetown University School of Medicine. In addition to assisting people who travel abroad with professional consultations on different infectious diseases prevalent around the world, she practices infectious diseases medicine at Infections Diseases Physicians, Inc. which she joined in 1998.
Dr. Ambardar received her undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University and her medical degree from Temple University School Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1990. She completed her internal medicine residency at the Washington Hospital Center and her Infectious Diseases fellowship at George Washington University hospital. She mentors residents in the Internal Medicine Residency program at Inova Fairfax during their Infectious Diseases electives. She is also a Fellow of the American College of physicians (FACP), and a member of local and national Infectious Diseases societies. She has been honored as a Top Doctor by Washingtonian Magazine.

Ishmail joined Travel Health Services in 2015 to enhance the delivery of comprehensive services. He is degreed as a nurse practitioner and brings with him extensive nursing experience.
Ishmail received his nursing degree in 2010 and achieved the level of advanced practice nursing in 2015. Prior to joining Travel Health Services, he practiced in the areas of community health, hospice, rehab and long-term care.
Ishmail is also a valued staff member of Infectious Diseases Physicians, Inc. There he uses his training and experiences to support the delivery of pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments as well as patient education interactions.

Amber joined Travel Health Services in 2017 to enhance the delivery of comprehensive services. She is board certified as a nurse practitioner and is experienced in independently assessing and managing the health care needs of patients.
Amber received her nursing degree in 2010 and her Masters of Nursing Science (Family Nurse Practitioner Program) in 2017. Also, she is certified in Critical Care Nursing and Emergency Neurological Life Support.
Amber is also a valued staff member of Infectious Diseases Physicians, Inc. There she uses her experience and expertise to provide excellent patient care across a diversity of medical conditions.

Serena joined Travel Health Services in 2017 to support the delivery of comprehensive client services. She is board certified as a nurse practitioner and is experienced in monitoring the effectiveness of prevention measures and therapeutic treatments.
Serena received her nursing degree in 2011 and her Master of Science in Nursing, Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner Concentration in 2017. Her experiences include nursing and leadership in advanced cardiac patient care. She also holds a Master of Science in Health Education.
Serena is also a valued staff member of Infectious Diseases Physicians, Inc. There she uses her experience and her focus on the details of optimal patient care to provide care across a number of infectious disease conditions.
